Police Seek Suspects In Home Invasion Robbery At Hollywood Hills Residence Owned By Former 'Real Housewife' Joanna Krupa

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CBSLA.com) —  At least one man was injured and a woman may also have been hurt in a home invasion robbery by a pair of armed and masked suspects at a house in the Hollywood Hills, apparently owned by model and former "Real Housewife of Miami" star Joanna Krupa, according to police and a witness.

The break-in at the nearly 5,000 square foot home, valued at more than $4 million and located on the 2600 block of Astral Drive, occurred around 3 a.m., according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles police's Hollywood Division.

One man suffered lacerations to his head and was treated at the scene, according to the Hollywood Division desk officer, who said he didn't know whether there were other people hurt in the robbery.

According to an online search of real estate reports, Krupa is an owner of the house. Krupa, a 37-year-old Polish-born, American model, actress and animal rights activist is best known for "RHOM" but has appearances on a number of reality TV shows including, "Dancing With the Stars"  and "Top Model."

She has also been featured in photo layouts for Maxim which named her one of the world's 100 hottest women in 2011, Inside Sport, Stuff, Shape and twice in Playboy. She is married to businessman Romain Zago.

The four robbers managed to escape and the desk officer did not know what they stole from the home.

Another home invasion robbery was reported in the same block in February. It was unclear whether it took place in the same house.

In that robbery, two gunmen -- one wearing a ski mask, the other a bandana -- entered the Astral Drive home at 3:35 a.m. on Feb. 6, LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera said at the time.

The suspects demanded property and a man was beaten with a gun before the duo fled in a Nissan Maxima, Herrera said. The vehicle was found nearby -- in the area of Nichols Canyon Road and La Canstana Drive -- with some of the stolen property inside, along with  a ski mask and bandana worn by the suspects, police said.

The suspects in the February break-in also remain at large, according to police.

CBS2's Laurie Perez reported from the scene. She said the homes all seemed to have large gates and elaborate security systems.

A woman who was seen speaking to LAPD moments after they responded to the home, appeared to be Krupa.
