Caught On Video: Trio Wanted In Series Of Beachwood Canyon Burglaries

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police released security footage Friday of three suspects believed to have burglaries at least four homes in the Hollywood area since February.

The crimes all occurred between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. in the Beachwood Canyon area, which includes the 2500 block of Canyon Drive and the 2100 block of Bronson Avenue, Los Angeles police officials said.

"The suspects smashed bathroom side windows, climbed through the windows, entered the residences and removed victim's property," according to an LAPD statement.

On Feb. 28, after the suspects burglarized one home, police say they were caught on security camera at a local store making purchases with a stolen credit card.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men between 18 and 25 years old. The first suspect is between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-7 and weighs 140-160 pounds; the second between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 and 150 to 160 pounds; and the third between 5-foot-6 and 6 feet tall, weighing 160-170 pounds.
