Playboy Reveals 1st Playmate Of The Year Not Completely Nude

HOLMBY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A model from Palmdale has been named Playboy's 2016 Playmate of the Year.

Eugena Washington, the third black woman to receive the iconic title, was formally revealed at the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills Wednesday.

The former contestant on "America's Next Top Model" will grace the cover of the magazine's June issue.

But the 31-year-old did not exactly bear all. She is the first Playmate of the Year to not completely appear nude in her 10-page pictorial.

"It's funny because I am nude, except you can't see anything," Washington noted. "It's always good to be the first of something - kind of pioneer of it. I hope that I did Playboy well; I serve them well - being the first non-nude playmate."

As Playboy's 57th Playmate of the Year, she will also receive $100,000 in prize money.

"It's a great time for this," Washington told the magazine. "The world is changing. I hope this brings different eyes to the magazine and new audiences. This is a story and a chapter in my life to build around. I'm enjoying the ride. And right now, I'm doing whatever I want to do, day by day."

Washington's modeling career began in 2006 when she appeared on "America's Next Top Model" and finished in the top three.

She went on to grace the pages of various fashion magazines and appear in commercials and campaigns for CoverGirl, Clinique, Lexus, Macy's and Target.

The playmate had a recurring role on CBS's "The Bold and the Beautiful" and appeared in the feature film "The Perfect Match."

She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month in December 2015.
