L.A. Police Commissioner Under Fire For Controversial Tweet About Trump Rally
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The vice president of the Los Angeles police commission was criticized for a tweet he made about Donald Trump.
Steve Soboroff retweeted a video of a rally held by the presumptive Republican nominee in Indiana.
Soboroff's comment read: "Every man in the crowd looks like he has the same biological parents."
His remark apparently did not sit well with many. Critics called him racist, unfit to be a police commissioner and that he embarrassed the Los Angeles Police Department.
Soboroff declined an on-camera interview Friday night but told CBS2/KCAL9's Rachel Kim that the tweet was "just an observation of lack of diversity."
