More Than 1,500 Positions Available At South LA Job Fair

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of Southland residents waited in line Friday to acquire employment during a one day job fair.

The South Los Angeles WorkSource Center held the hiring event from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 3965 South Vermont Avenue.

More than 1,500 people were hired to work at Los Angeles Rams games, along with other sports venues and concerts.

The WorkSource Center links employers with workers, and workers with the resources they need to develop their careers.
