Dodgers Adding Uber Pickup Zone Outside Stadium For 2016 Season
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — It will be easier for Dodgers fans to find a ride from Chavez Ravine this season, following a deal between the team and Uber.
Uber announced Monday that it is an official partner and preferred ride of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
"When fans ride with Uber, they can get exclusive access to any of the five entry gates and [be] dropped off anywhere around the stadium," said Michael Amodeo, public affairs representative for Uber. "Once the game is over, fans can head to the dedicated Uber Zone in Lot 12 where their driver will pick them up to get them safely to their next destination."
A $1.50 pick up and drop off fee will apply.
Dodger fans will receive $15 off their first ride with Uber by using the promo code "LADODGERS."
