Man Reunited With High School Class Ring He Last Saw In 1987

AZUSA (CBSLA.com) — More than two decades ago, Richard Mason gave his class ring to his then-girlfriend.

After the pair broke up, he never saw it again.

Well, until now.

Mason was reunited with his Arroyo High School class ring Wednesday after a school custodian found it on-campus.

The custodian gave the ring to his wife, who works as a school counselor for El Monte High School, who then turned it over to the school resource officer.

That officer, Joe Garcia, did some digging and located Mason, who was extremely thankful to have it returned.

Mason had graduated from Arroyo High in 1985 and had last seen the ring in 1987.

He now lives in Azusa with his family.
