Dodgers Announce Opening Day Roster

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced their Opening Day 25-man roster ahead of the 2016 season, which begins tomorrow afternoon at 4:05 p.m. against the San Diego Padres at PETCO Park.

The club also placed eight players on the disabled list, joining Brandon McCarthy and Frankie Montas, who were both previously placed on the 60-day DL.

Those players are: left-handed pitchers Brett Anderson (60-day DL) and Hyun-Jin Ryu, outfielder Andre Ethier, infielders Alex Guerrero and Howie Kendrick, catcher Yasmani Grandal and right-handed pitchers Mike Bolsinger and Josh Ravin. President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman made the announcement.
