Riverside Police Investigating Suspicious Death Of 51-Year-Old Woman

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com)   —  Riverside Police say they are investigating the death of a woman -- deemed suspicious -- earlier this week.

On Wednesday, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Riverside Police and Fire responded to 3839 Sedgwick Avenue regarding a call about an adult female found deceased in her apartment.

The Homicide Unit, Coroner and Forensic Evidence Unit responded to the scene to conduct a death investigation.

The deceased has been identified as Marisol Lam Navarro, 51, of Riverside.

Navarro was the mother of five children.

Detectives said Saturday they are investigating her death as being suspicious in nature.

Investigators are asking the public's help with any information they may have.
