LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A woman was injured after her car was struck by a vehicle apparently stolen by a couple of girls, Long Beach police said.
Officers tried to pull over the stolen car at Atlantic Avenue and New York Street at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, then began chasing it in a pursuit that ended a short time later with a crash at 10th and Ximeno Avenue, Long Beach police Lt. The stolen Toyota Camry, driven by a girl who had another girl as a passenger, crashed into a small white sedan, seriously injuring the woman who was driving the car and was its only occupant, Coy said.
