You Can Now Share Music Via Spotify In Facebook Messenger

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Facebook announced that you will be able to share playlists and songs via Spotify inside conversations on Messenger.

As of now, you won't be able to play the shared song or playlist through Messenger, but the song shared will start playing once Spotify opens.

According to Facebook Messenger's announcement Wednesday, "While chatting, tap the 'More' tab and then choose Spotify to get started. Or if a friend sends you a song, just tap 'Open' to hop over to Spotify to start listening."

Once the Spotify button has been selected, you will be able to navigate through the app as you normally would.
