Sketch Released Of Sexual Assault Suspect Wanted In Northridge

NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday released a sketch of a sexual assault suspect who is wanted in Northridge.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, a male suspect entered the home of an elderly woman and proceeded to drag her outside of the residence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect then attempted to sexually assault the woman before he fled from the area.

Detectives described the suspect as an African American man who is believed to be between the ages of 30 to 40-years-old, stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
