Bomb Threat Called In To Orange Police Department

ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — The Orange Police Department's headquarters were partially evacuated Wednesday morning after a bomb threat was called in, authorities said.

Orange County Sheriff's officials say they received a call for help from the department at about 5:58, requesting assistance for a bomb threat they received. The station, at 1107 N. Batavia St., was partially evacuated.

The Orange County sheriff's bomb squad was sent in to search the station. At 7:30 a.m., authorities said no bomb was found.
