LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say a 61-year-old man was killed in a weekend skiing accident on a Los Angeles County mountain.
Coroner's and sheriff's officials said William Robert Eslick Jr. of Winnetka died Saturday after striking a tree at Mount Waterman.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported Sunday that an autopsy is planned.
Mount Waterman is a small resort in the Angeles National Forest about 45 miles northeast of downtown LA.
