LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Kings and the Staples Center will play host to the 2017 NHL All Star Game.
This will be LA’s third time hosting the game, and the first time since 2002.
The NHL will mark it’s 100th anniversary during the 2016-17 season, while the Kings will be marking their 50-year anniversary.
The All Star game will take place on January 29th, 2017, with the skills competition occuring the day before, on January 28th.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman confirmed the announcement on Saturday.
