3-Year-Old Girl Found Wandering Streets Of South LA At 3:20 AM Returned Home

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a 3-year-old girl was found wandering the streets of South LA at 3:20 a.m. Saturday morning.

The girl was found near the intersection of 41st and Avalon Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Police Sgt. Robert Calderon.

The toddler was returned home after she was able to give officers her name and tell them where she lives.

"The little girl just got up after everyone went to bed and decided she wanted to get something to eat," Calderon said. "So, she left her place and
began walking around."

She was reunited with her mother about 10 minutes after she was found.

"She's a lucky little girl," he said.
