Kobe, Highest Vote-Getter, Named Starter For NBA All-Star Game

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was named to the NBA's Western Conference All-Star team's starting lineup on Friday.

Bryant will make his 18th appearance at the All-Star game.

Joining him in the starting lineup for the West is Warriors G Stephen Curry, Thunder G Russell Westbrook, Thunder F Kevin Durant, and Spurs F Kawhi Leonard.

Bryant led all players with 1,891,614 votes.

Stephen Curry finished second with 1,604,325 votes, while LeBron James finished third with 1,089,206 votes.

The Eastern Conference starters are Raptors G Kyle Lowry, Heat G Dwayne Wade, Cavaliers F LeBron James, Knicks F Carmelo Anthony, and Pacers F Paul George.
