LA Rams Launch 2016 Season Ticket Deposit Campaign

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Rams fans Monday were able to secure the opportunity to purchase season tickets online.

Starting at 10 a.m., fans were granted access to the team's official website, which allowed for their participation in the 2016 ticket deposit campaign, according to the Los Angeles Rams.

To secure season tickets, each fan placed a $100 refundable deposit online.

"By opening an account and placing a refundable deposit, fans will secure an opportunity to purchase Los Angeles Rams season tickets for the 2016 season at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum beginning this spring," said Russ Stanton. "Members on the waiting list will be able to purchase tickets before the general public based on when the deposit was received."

Officials explained each account holder will be allowed to purchase up to eight season tickets before the public has access to the site.

"All season ticket holders will be guaranteed the first opportunity to purchase seats in the team's new state-of-the-art Inglewood Stadium before the general public," added Stanton.

CBS2's Kara Finnstrom reported the Inglewood Stadium is slated to open for the 2019 season.
