WINNETKA (CBSLA.com)   —  A double homicide was reported in Winnetka Sunday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Keswick Street and Oso Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

The LAPD told people to avoid the area. A suspect is still at-large, police said.

The LAPD says the suspect fatally shot a man and a woman inside an apartment.

KCAL9’s Jennifer Kastner reported from the scene Sunday evening.

There was no witnesses to the shooting, she reported. The man and woman were in the 20s or 30s.

Police would not confirm that the victims were romantically involved. City News Service reported Sunday that the suspect is believed to be the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
