LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — “Spotlight” is predicted to win for best motion picture drama during Sunday night’s presentation of the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards.
“Thus far, it has been winning all of the awards,” said Kylie Erica Mar, a segment reporter for the syndicated series “Made in Hollywood.” “I think that it will continue to win the awards for Golden Globes.”
Mar also predicts that “The Big Short” will win for best motion picture musical or comedy.
“The [Hollywood Foreign Picture Association] generally like to choose a movie that’s more prestigious and just slightly humorous so I think that they are going to choose ‘The Big Short,’ ” she said.
“My runner-up is ‘The Martian.’ I would personally choose ‘The Martian.’ I think it is the best picture of the year, but ‘The Big Short’ everyone seems to love,” Mar said.
