91-Year-Old Man Diagnosed With Alzheimer's Reported Missing In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Thursday to locate a 91-year-old man who has been reported missing in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Apolonio Gomez was last seen around 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the 5500 block of Marmion Way.

Gomez was driving a silver 2013 Honda Accord that has a California license plate that reads "6YGH760."

Family members notified authorities that he suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is in need of medical care.

Detectives described Gomez as a Hispanic man who wears prescription glasses, has gray hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs around 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, grey jeans, grey and black tennis shoes and a black jacket.
