Long Beach Police Asking For Public To Help Find Missing 12-Year-Old

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  The Long  Beach Police Department is hoping the public can help them track down a missing 12-year-old boy.

Antonio Peter Miramontes has autism and police say he has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.

He answers to his first and middle names, police said.

He was last seen Thursday morning around 10 a.m. in the area of Mountain View Street and the LA Riverbed.

Miramontes does not have any money, identification or cellphone on him.

Police provided news media with a very recent photograph and said Miramontes was last seen wearing the same sweatshirt shown in the photo. When last seen he was also wearing school uniform pants.

The missing boy is described as a Latino, about 5 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. He has black hair and brown eyes.
