Dick Van Dyke Celebrates 90th Birthday With Flash Mob At The Grove In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dick Van Dyke celebrated his 90th birthday this weekend and apparently participated in a flash mob in Los Angeles.

Video of the flash mob, which included a rendition of "Chim Chimney" from "Mary Poppins", was posted to YouTube on Dec. 12.

The flash mob at The Grove appears to have included about 50 dancers. Dick Van Dyke himself sang "Let's Go Fly A Kite" with the crowd after the performance.

"I am very grateful that at 90 years old, I can still go out and play!! #dvdturns90," he said on Twitter.

The actor's wife, Arlene Silver-Van Dyke, helped organize the event, according to CNN.
