Inland Regional Center Website Crashes In Wake Of Shooting

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — The website for the San Bernardino health facility that was the scene of a mass shooting Wednesday was down following reports of the incident.

Inland Regional Center's website InlandRC.org had apparently exceeded the "site's ability to handle traffic", according to a message posted on the site.

According to the Inland Regional Center's Facebook page, the center has been serving "individuals with developmental disabilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties" since its opening in 1971.

With nearly 700 staff members, the Inland Regional Center provides services to over 30,000 residents with developmental disabilities for ages ranging from infants to seniors 60 years and older, according to the center's Facebook page.
