22-Year-Old Man Arrested In Lewd Acts With 13-Year-Old Girl In Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) —  Rancho Cucamonga police announced the arrest of a 22-year-old man they said committed lewd acts with a girl he met online.

About 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, deputies from Rancho Cucamonga investigated reports of a molestation of a 13-year-old girl by a man.

The suspect and victim reportedly met through the social media dating application Hot or Not.

Carlos Alfredo Flores was identified as the suspect in the molestation.

Detectives Matt Gordon and Nick Hartleben learned Flores has an apartment in the 10800 block of Lemon Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. Detectives served a search warrant at the dwelling; however, Flores was not located.

Wednesday, detectives tracked Flores to a residence in Claremont.

Flores was subsequently arrested on suspicion of lewd acts on a child under the age of 14. Flores was booked at the West Valley Detention Center, where he is being held on $250,000 bail.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims who possibly met Flores on Hot or Not or other social media sites.
