Authorities said the pet was conscious, but was extremely lethargic due to smoke inhalation.

The firefighter successfully revived the dog using a pet oxygen mask. The family later brought their pet to an animal hospital for further evaluation.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities estimate $150,000 worth of damage was done to the home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
