Uber Delivers Adoptable Kittens For National Cat Day

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — On what is arguably the cutest day of the year, Uber is delivering kittens to your doorstep Thursday in honor of National Cat Day.

Los Angeles is one of several cities participating in the event aimed at finding adoptable kittens a "fur"-ever home.

Uber users can get 15 minutes of cuddly, furry bliss sent to their work or home by opening the Uber app and requesting the "kittens" option.

The service runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $30.

Availability is limited, so if happen to miss out on #uberkittens you can always visit them at the participating shelters: Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles and Heaven on Earth Society for Animals.

Uber also held a wildly popular event with adoptable puppies earlier this year.

Share a photo of your favorite feline by posting to social media with the hashtag #CBSLAcats and we may show your cat during our newscasts.
