Footage Released Of 2 Men Accused Of Burglarizing 6 Medical Offices In Just 1 Morning

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Footage was released Thursday night of two men who stand accused of burglarizing a half dozen medical offices in Woodland Hills.

Police believe the offices were broken into over the course of just one morning last week.

LAPD detectives say the suspects may have been hiding out overnight in a bathroom or janitor's closet before breaking in.

"These were very brazen and obviously they were very confident in what they could do," said Dr. Richard Hoefke, who runs a dental office that was hit.

"It appeared they were interested in something very fast and quick like cash or drugs that they probably could sell on the street, which in this office, we had none of those kind of medications," Hoefke said.

Detectives agree the suspects were likely looking for drugs, but only got away with money.

Investigators discovered the video, which was taken from another office, and captured both men. One of the men has a very distinct tattoo on the left side of his neck.

"They're bold. They're very bold. They are going to do it again," said LAPD Capt. Maureen Ryan, who adds that police want to bring the suspects in.

Detectives suspect that the pair may be connected to at least two other burglaries in Woodland Hills just this month.
