Huggies Diaper Ad Has California Mother Wondering Whether Toddler's Thighs Were Airbrushed

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Huggies diaper ad has at least one California mother wondering whether the company airbrushed the toddler's thighs.

The mother posted the ad to Reddit after noticing that the legs of the child appeared out of proportion.

In her post, she asked: "Is it just me or did this Huggies ad photoshop a thigh gap on a toddler?"

Many of those who commented on the post agreed that the image looked suspicious, while others didn't.

One post responded: "Not a thigh gap! If you look closely the diaper is just folded and bunched weirdly between baby's legs giving that illusion. You can see the diaper print on it!"

Another stated: "Not necessarily, not all babies have rolls. My two year old looks kinda like that. She's tall and skinny, always has been."

Huggies has responded, telling the Daily Mail Online they do not airbrush the bodies of the babies in their advertising.

"We always use real-life customers and users of our products, and do not airbrush the bodies of the babies in our advertising and photography," Terry Balluck, a Huggies representative, told the publication.
