Power Knocked Out For 1,600 Customers Near Pico-Robertson

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Power was interrupted Friday to about 1,600 customers in an area of Los Angeles just south of Beverly Hills.

Customers reported the issue late this morning in the area near Pico and Robertson Boulevard, according to Department of Water and Power spokeswoman Vonda Paige.

The cause of the problem was not immediately confirmed, but KNX 1070's Ron Kilgore reports some witnesses on social media claimed a delivery truck was to blame.

Crews were sent to restore electrical service.

Most signal lights were back on by around 2:15 p.m.
