Caught On Video: Robber Punches Female Employee In Fontana

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Tuesday to find a man attacked a female employee before robbing the Fontana business where she was working.

The robbery, which was captured on surveillance video, was reported last Thursday at about 7:25 p.m. in the 16700 block of Foothill Boulevard, Fontana police spokeswoman Martha Guzman-Hurtado said.

The robber was seen running into the business and attacking the employee, then holding out a plastic bag while demanding money from the cash register. He then punches the employee again as he ushers her into a back room before he runs out again.

Police did not specify the type of business.

He was described as a black man, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.
