Bob Barker Injured In Fall Near Hollywood Hills Home

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Retired "The Price Is Right" host Bob Barker was injured in a fall near his Hollywood Hills home Tuesday, police said.

Officers who happened to be in the area saw Barker, 91, trip over a curb about 10:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Outpost Drive, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.

Barker hit his head and sustained lacerations, the LAPD said.

The officers called an ambulance, and Barker was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was stable.

Barker received stitches before being released, the Los Angeles Times reported.
