LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was activated from the Disabled List on Saturday, and is starting in right field in tonight’s game against the Padres.
Puig has been out since August 27th with a right hamstring injury.
He is hitting .256 this season with 11 home runs and 38 RBI in 77 games played this season.
The Dodgers have two games remaining including tonight before they will take on the New York Mets in the NLDS.
Manager Don Mattingly has not said whether or not Puig will be on the postseason roster.
Puig does have an active 10-game hitting streak entering tonight, hitting .342/.390/.526 during the streak. His last game was Aug. 27.
