Police Seek Armed Man In Connection With Circle K Robbery In Chino Hills

CHINO HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help on Friday to identify an armed man who stole money and lottery tickets from a convenience store in Chino Hills.

A man entered a Circle K store, located in the 15900 block of Los Serranos Country Club Drive, around 4 a.m. on Sunday and brandished a sharp weapon towards the clerk, according to the Chino Hills Police Department.

Surveillance video captured the incident as it unfolded.

Fearing for his safety, the clerk opened the cash register and handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then took several lottery tickets and fled.

Detectives described the suspect as a Hispanic man who is believed to be between the ages of 25 to 35-years-old and weighs no more than 320 pounds.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
