Man Killed At Memorial Service For Fellow Member Of Motorcycle Club In Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives on Wednesday investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 46-year-old man in Rancho Cucamonga.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities were sent to the 10000 block of of 6th Street near Hermosa Avenue for reports of shots heard, according to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he later died. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

"Deputies were informed that the victim along with several members of a local motorcycle club were at the location attending a memorial service for a fellow member when the shooting occurred," explained Sheriff-Coroner John McMahon.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
