1 Struck By Gunfire Outside South LA Jack In The Box
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person was in surgery Sunday morning after being struck by gunfire in South Los Angeles.
The shooting happened outside of a Jack in the Box location on Vermont Avenue and W. 25th Street in the University Park area.
Police say the victim was in one car, while the suspect was in another and opened fire.
The victim was taken to California Hospital Medical Center and was in surgery at last word.
The suspect was outstanding. A description was not available.
It's not known whether the shooting was gang-related.
