RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public’s help on Wednesday to locate a man who is suspected of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Riverside.

Officers said the suspect then forced the victim to a nearby area where he sexually assaulted her.
However, the teenager was able to get away and fled from the area.

He has a pock mark or burn scar under his left eye, and was last seen wearing sunglasses.
At this time, it remains unclear if the suspect fled from the area in a vehicle.
