Body Of Missing Lake Elsinore Man Found

LAKE ELSINORE (CBSLA.com) — A Lake Elsinore man reported missing was found dead in the McVicker Canyon area of Lake Elsinore on Wednesday following a police search, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said on Saturday.

Hector Ramirez, 44, was found at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 29000 block of McVicker Canyon Park Road, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

Ramirez was reported missing by Reynaldo Sanchez, who lived with Ramirez at a Lake Elsinore home.

Ramirez's body was found in a rural area of the canyon with the assistance of a helicopter.

No signs of foul play were suspected in regard to Ramirez's death, the Sheriff's department said. The investigation is ongoing.
