3 Transported To Hospital With Injuries After 2 South LA Shootings

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three people were transported to the hospital with injuries after two separate shootings took place in South Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

A woman who is about 45 years old and an approximately 50-year-old man were shot about 9 p.m. on 43rd Street west of Vermont Avenue, the LAPD said. Both were transported to a hospital, but their conditions were not immediately available.

About 30 minutes earlier, another victim was shot on the 1300 block of West 59th Place, the LAPD said. That victim's age and gender were not available. A green SUV with bullet holes and its windows blown out was visible in the driveway of a nearby house with bullet casings lying nearby, a videographer at the scene said.

All three victims were taken to area hospitals.

No suspect information was made available in either case.
