Report Of Gas Leak At Inglewood Elementary School Prompts Evacuation

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — An elementary school was evacuated on Tuesday while authorities investigated report of a gas leak.

Around 10:42 a.m., firefighters were sent to La Tijera Elementary School, located in the 1400 block of South La Tijera Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Upon their arrival, authorities evacuated the school.

Paramedics treated 11 patients at the scene.

The fire inspector has been called to assist at the scene.
