Man Dies After Falling Off Dinner Boat Cruise In Morro Bay

SAN LUIS OBISPO (AP) — A man who fell overboard while on a dinner boat cruise off the Central Coast has died.

The Coast Guard said after falling off the boat in Morro Bay Harbor on Friday evening, the man was pulled from the water by a fellow passenger and the crew of an oyster fishing boat.

He was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in critical condition. A hospital spokesman told the San Luis Obispo Tribune he died Sunday.

The man's name has not been released.

Morro Bay police are investigating the circumstances that led to him falling overboard.
