Police Investigate Shooting In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police on Friday investigated the circumstances surrounding a shooting that took place in South Los Angeles.
Shortly after 10 a.m., officers were sent to West 83rd and South Main streets for report of a shooting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported a man to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the shooting.
An update on his condition was not immediately known.
No suspect information has been provided.
At this time, it remains unclear if the incident was gang-related.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
