Oxnard Man, 18, Dies Of Injuries Suffered In Aug. 9 Hit-And-Run

OXNARD (CBSLA.com)  —  Oxnard police said an 18-year-old struck by a vehicle Aug. 9 has died.

Bryan Ramirez, an Oxnard resident, was struck about 7 p.m. in the 300 block of North G. Street by someone driving a silver, four-door compact.

Ramirez was transported by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition.

VCMC staff notified the Oxnard Police Department on Friday that Ramirez had died as a result of his injuries.

Authorities believe that the incident was witnessed by several people and are requesting assistance from the public.
