Driver Who Slammed SUV Into Playa Vista Fitness Center Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI
PLAYA VISTA (CBSLA.com) — A driver who lost control of their SUV and plowed through the wall of a fitness center Monday night was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It reportedly happened just after 10 p.m. at the corner of South Centinela Avenue and Major Street.
Authorities say the driver hit another car before smashing into the building.
Police say no one was hurt.
As of 6:30 am. Tuesday, officials hadn't yet released the driver's name or any further details.
