Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In Del Rey

DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — Crews worked to repair a water main break that ruptured in a residential neighborhood in Del Rey on Monday.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a 6-inch pipe that was built in 1954 broke just before 2:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of West Ida Street.

Crews have shut water off in the immediate area.

Officials said about 10 to 15 customers have been affected by the incident.

At this time, no property damage has been reported.

Authorities did not clarify when water was expected to be turned back on in the area.
