VENTURA (CBSLA.com)   —   Authorities say a 19-year-old man is in custody following a complaint that he committed lewd acts in public.

On Thursday, around 1:30 p.m., police said Tyler White of Ventura sat on a bench outside of a J.C. Penney store (located in the 300 block of Mills Road) and asked a woman what time it was.

Officials said White then sat down next to the woman. After several minutes, they said he stood up and intentionally exposed himself with his pants down.
