The 25-year-old Hearn — a Redlands firefighter/paramedic — has pleaded not guilty to shooting Robert Limon of Helendale last August. Prosecutors say he was having an affair with Limon’s wife, Sabrina.

Court filings indicated the two exchanged thousands of text messages, including one from Hearn suggesting they could be together if her husband was out of the picture.
