British Open Update: Round 3 Tee Times
ST. ANDREWS, SCOTLAND (CBSLA.com) — Round 2 of the British Open was completed after a 10 hour delay on Saturday morning, as Dustin Johnson has held on to his lead as he sits at 10 under par.
Danny Willett is in 2nd place at nine under par, while Paul Lawrie has claimed thrid place at eight under par. Six players, Marc Warren, Zach Johnson, Adam Scott, Robert Streb, Louis Oosthuizen and Jason Day, are tied for fourth with a score of seven under.
Tiger Woods officially missed the cut as he finished the second round by shooting a 75, and finished with a two-round score of seven over par.
Jordan Spieth is still in contention for his third straight major, as he sits at five under par, five back of the leader, Dustin Johnson.
Strong winds and bad weather have delayed the tournament several times already, but officials are optimistic they will complete the third round in full on Sunday.
The Final Round of The Open is scheduled for Monday morning.
