Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (July 15)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The marine layer was just a few hundred feet deeper Wednesday morning, which allowed for coverage in the valley communities.

Most of the area woke up to some gray skies, however, it will burn-off fairly quickly.

Hazy sunshine with a couple of degrees cooling from Tuesday's high of 84 degrees will be seen today. Expect more of the same weather on Thursday and Friday.

Over the weekend, there is a chance for some thunderstorms as moisture surges up from the southeast.

Right now, it looks like Hurricane Dolores will not be a factor. The best chances for thunderstorm activity will be on Saturday.

Temperatures will pop up a bit over the weekend as well.
