PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Four people were injured in a traffic collision involving a semi and several vehicles on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Hill Avenue in Pasadena Tuesday, authorities say.
A semi, a box truck and two cars collided under the overpass around 2:30 p.m.
The semi was blocking all lanes and household items were strewn across the roadway, prompting the California Highway Patrol to close the westbound freeway at Lake Avenue, which was backed up for miles.
CHP officers worked with Caltrans to clear the freeway, which was re-opened around 4:30 p.m.
At least three of the victims suffered moderate injuries, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.
Further information was not immediately available.
